This project is organized by the Alumni Club of the Silvania National College (CNS) and RUF — Romanian United Foundation, in partnership with Rotary Club Millennium Zalău.

If you walked the halls of Colegiul Național "Silvania" in Zalău, you know what that place means. The teachers who pushed you. The friendships you still carry. The pride of being a "Silvanian."
Today, a group of 14 to 19-year-old students from your high school have done something extraordinary — and they need your help to see it through.

CNapSys (Team #22586) is the robotics club of Colegiul Național "Silvania." Curious, driven, building things most adults couldn't dream of.
Won the regional championship this season.
Qualified for nationals only for the 2nd time in their history.

The competition
Only 48 teams in the entire world qualified for this event. CNapSys is one of them. Romania will be on that floor. Your school will be on that floor.
Getting 24 students and mentors from Zalău to Fort Worth — and back — costs approximately $65,000. We've raised $50,000 — we still need $15,000 today.
The team has sponsors in Romania. But the gap is real — and June 7th is fast approaching.
Why it matters
"It's about a kid from Zalău standing next to teams from the US, Asia, and Western Europe — and holding their own."
It's about what happens to a 15-year-old's sense of what's possible when they compete at a world-level event and realize: I belong here. Silvania has always stood for excellence, ambition, and the belief that where you're from doesn't limit where you can go. As alumni, you benefited from that belief. Now it's your turn to pass it forward.
